The Safescan 70 offers a complete solution for quickly authenticating banknotes, credit cards, passports and other ID documents. Its compact size fits perfectly into any point-of-sale location.
Safescan 70 features a powerful UV lamp and reflector to verify the critical features in banknotes (all currencies), passports, ID cards, credit cards and all other official documents. The large white LED light area gives you a clear view of the watermarks, microprint and metallic thread possessed by banknotes instantly.
The Safescan 70 comes complete with an automatic on/off switch sensor to save energy and improve lamp life which makes it an ideal choice for any business or retail setting. Available in 2 colours to match your point-of-sale environment.
The Safescan 70’s ingenious “warm- start” technology triples the UV bulb’s usual lifetime while reducing energy use. When you turn on the device, an intelligent system preheats the bulb’s electrodes, enabling the bulb to be switched on and off without reducing its useful life. Ideal for frequent use.
No need to dim the surroundings or add extra UV sources: the Safescan 70’s unique integrated reflector nearly doubles the amount of UV light that reaches the banknote or ID card, giving you the best possible view of its UV security features.
