Safescan 70 features a powerful UV lamp and reflector to verify the critical features in banknotes (all currencies), passports, ID cards, credit cards and all other official documents. The large white LED light area gives you a clear view of the watermarks, microprint and metallic thread possessed by banknotes instantly.

The Safescan 70 comes complete with an automatic on/off switch sensor to save energy and improve lamp life which makes it an ideal choice for any business or retail setting. Available in 2 colours to match your point-of-sale environment.

The Safescan 70’s ingenious “warm- start” technology triples the UV bulb’s usual lifetime while reducing energy use. When you turn on the device, an intelligent system preheats the bulb’s electrodes, enabling the bulb to be switched on and off without reducing its useful life. Ideal for frequent use.
